Soi Lek is not our Deputy President

The statement made yesterday by Chua Soi Lek, offering his Deputy President post to Liow Tiong Lai embodies the arrogance of the man.

The MCA delegates have rejected him.
At the last EGM, we sympathised his plight and agreed that he should be given back his membership that was snatched away from him by Ong Tee Keat. However we did not agree that he becomes the Deputy President that is why did not support his bid. To rub salt in our wounds, Tee Keat has now become Soi Lek’s ally, making us all look like fools.

We don’t really care what the ROS has said, as they were deciding on an application by Soi Lek. We have not bothered asking the ROS to step in as we are very clear who the Deputy President should not be. Our voting proved that we did not want a tainted character as our leader, so listen to us!
